A man identified as Zoe Obinna Ogugua has reportedly fled with his family after surviving several failed kidnap attempts by suspected members of IPOB on his life and members of his family in Lagos State.

Recall that in February 2023 Zoe and his family narrowly escaped a failed kidnapping attempt during a weekend visit to a popular fast food eatery(name withheld) in Lagos State.

The embattled Zoe Obinna Ogugua in 2018 was said to have testified in a case of defilement of two minors in Festac axis of Lagos State against an IPOB member in 2018.

He, however became instantly exposed to several death threats immediately after the IPOB member was arraigned for defilement of two minors and was later sentenced in a landmark judgement in July 2022.

Suspected kidnappers in February 2023 in a Mercedes Benz car were said to have trailed Zoe Obinna Ogugua and his family in his Lexus RX 300 to a popular eatery in Lagos State where desperate attempts to kidnap his family in a parked car were made.

It was gathered that while Zoe Obinna Ogugua had gone into the eatery to get some foods for his wife and kids in the parked car, another car pulled up, and immediately some men with dangerous weapons almost hijacked his car while the engine was still running.

As the kidnappers approached the parked car, his wife was said to have immediately turned on the central lock of the car as the kidnappers attempted to hijack the car with Zoe Obinna Ogugua’s family in the car.

Lexus RX 300 was however abandoned by the kidnappers who instantly drove off and instantly knocked down a bike-rider with a passenger in the process as they reportedly fled from the eatery in disappointment.

Angry sympathizers were seen rushing down to rescue the 2 casualties from the accident between the kidnappers vehicle and the bike-rider as the victims were later confirmed dead at the hospital, it was gathered.

Obinna Ogugua was said to have immediately rushed down to the car park where his Lexus RX 300 was parked to ascertain the safety of his wife and kids who were visibly frightened after the failed kidnap attempt.

Meanwhile, Zoe Obinna Ogugua, following the several failed kidnap attempts on his life and that of his family, was said to have gone into hiding and relocated to an undisclosed location as his whereabouts and that of his family remained unknown to anyone in his Lakeview estate in Lagos State
