BENIN—A hair dresser, yesterday, lost her life at Ekpoma, Edo State, when dare devil robbers attacked two banks in the town. An undisclosed sum of money was allegedly carted away by the robbers.

The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained at press time.

The robbers, numbering about 10, were said to have operated in a new generation bank and a second generation bank for about 30 minutes.

Vanguard gathered that the robbers stormed the banks located a few meters from each other, with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically, causing residents to run for safety, while the hair dresser was reportedly hit by stray a bullet from the robbers.
