Simply Worship International Ministry (SWIM) Abuja marked the Christmas season with a spectacular celebration, blending worship, love, and generosity.

The highlight was a special Christmas concert on December 22, 2024, held at their church venue on 31 Tai Solarin, 5th Avenue, Gwarinpa Estate. The event showcased the church’s signature worship style, emphasizing the wonders, faithfulness, and loving-kindness of God.

The morning service, beginning at 9:00 a.m., set the tone with electrifying worship led by Shirel, the church’s vibrant music team.

The service culminated in the announcement of the evening concert, drawing anticipation for a unique celebration of Jesus Christ. The concert, featuring hymnal worship, spoken word, and songs in diverse genres such as hip-hop, rock, and amapiano, captivated attendees and conveyed a moving love story of God’s relationship with humanity.

In line with its philanthropic ethos, SWIM distributed palliatives to members and visitors in need, reinforcing the church’s belief that its members are “blessed to be a blessing.” This act of giving, inspired by the founders’ lifestyle, reflected the church’s commitment to community support during the festive season.

Led by Rev. Victor Atenaga and his wife, Vivian Atenaga, SWIM has grown from its origins in Benin City, Edo State, to become a global ministry. Rev. Atenaga, a former personal psalmist to the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, carries forward the legacy of love and faith exemplified by the late cleric. Known for his transformative leadership, Rev. Atenaga’s vision of raising worshippers to conquer their worlds was evident in the joyous atmosphere of the Christmas concert.
