The Taraba State chapter of the Northern Nigeria Christian Political Forum (NNCPF) has commended Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, for her donation of 1,000 bags of rice to Christian communities in the state.

During the distribution exercise in Jalingo, the Chairperson of the group, Andeskebfun Joseph, described the gesture as timely and impactful.

He said the food item bring relief to many families during this festive season.

According to him, “this gesture is commendable and will alleviate the adverse effects of the current economic situation in the country.

“The First Lady has shown she is caring and compassionate, and we see this initiative as a love gift during this season.”

Joseph also urged the distribution teams across the 16 local government areas of the state to ensure fairness and transparency, in line with Christian values.
