ABUJA – The Allied Conservative Congress (ACC) has made bold promises for Nigeria’s economic revival and national transformation, pledging to restore the nation’s prosperity if voted into power in the 2027 elections.

The group emphasized its commitment to providing the fruits of democracy, aiming to revamp the economy and usher in sustainable development for a stronger and prosperous Nigeria.

In a statement issued to mark this year’s Christmas celebrations, the ACC called on Nigerians, especially Christians, to reflect on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

The statement, signed by Rev. Olusegun Peters, National Chairman of the ACC, urged citizens to rededicate themselves in service to God and humanity, praying for God’s mercy and the restoration of the nation.

It further called for a united effort among Nigerians to overcome political, economic, and social challenges, stressing the importance of patriotism in these trying times.

The political group also highlighted its core belief in a conservative ideology, which it believes is the solution to issues such as corruption, bad governance, and national disunity.

The leaders commended Nigerians for embracing the conservative values of integrity, morality, and patriotism, which they believe will guide the nation towards regaining its lost glory.

The statement wished fellow compatriots a Merry Christmas and reiterated the party’s pledge to improve the security and welfare of the people in line with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution, which prioritizes the welfare of the nation’s citizens.

The statement reads, “ACC urges Christians to rededicate their lives in service to God and humanity. They should also use the occasion to pray for God’s mercy and restoration of our dear nation. The need for patriotism cannot be overemphasized in this trying period of our nationhood.

“We enjoin Nigerians to set aside their differences and join hands with ACC in building a better, stronger and prosperous democratic nation that future generations will be proud of.

“ACC will alleviate the sufferings of the populace by providing the fruits of democracy that will revamp the economy and usher in prosperity and sustainable development.

“This is in tandem with Section 14(2)b of the 1999 Constitution as amended, which states that, ‘the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government.’

“We call for a conservative ideology which the Allied Conservative Congress champions. We commend millions of Nigerians for embracing the ACC conservative ideology. It is the panacea to multifarious political, economic and social challenges citizens face. As more Nigerians embrace the conservative ideology of integrity, morality, patriotism etc, in place of personal aggrandizement that breeds corruption, violence and bad governance, Nigeria will regain its lost glory.

“We promise to restore the nation’s economy and social values if voted into power in 2027. Certainly, Nigeria is the only country we have, let us join hands to make it great again.”
