BOSS Summit: Experts emphasize scaling, adaptation for business success

The BOSS Summit, a premier business event, recently brought together entrepreneurs and business owners to discuss strategies for achieving long-term success.


The summit, themed “Build to Last: Strategies for Mastering the Long Game in Business,” was held on December 7, at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja.


According to Othman Abdulrasheed, Convener of the BOSS Summit 2024, businesses must be proactive in scaling and adapting to remain competitive. “Business owners must identify and overcome key barriers to growth, including inefficient systems, leadership gaps, and access to capital,” Abdulrasheed emphasized.


The summit featured seasoned speakers, including Lanre Phillips, Abdulmalik Mahdi, Samiah Oyekan-Ahmed, and Zainab Garba Muhammad, who shared insights on best practices for business growth and sustainability.


Participants learned strategies for hiring and retaining a motivated team, balancing business demands with family responsibilities, and identifying opportunities for growth.


The summit also emphasized the importance of mastering the “3Ks” of business, which include knowledge of the business itself, knowledge of the environment, and knowledge of the customers.
Expert speakers, including Lanre Phillips, Abdulmalik Mahdi, Samiah Oyekan-Ahmed, and Zainab Garba Muhammad, shared their expertise on topics such as business sustainability, leadership, and innovation.
The Summit also recognized outstanding business leaders and entrepreneurs, presenting the Mastermind Resilience Award to three exceptional individuals and the BOSS 10X Award to Zainab Muhammad.
