The Traditional Ruler of Aboh Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Obi, Greg Oputa 111 and the Aboh Council of Chiefs have set up committee to reconcile all aggrieved persons in the kingdom.

The committee is headed by Professor Eddie Alumona while other members would be appointed by His Imperial Majesty, Obi Oputa in due course.

The appointment is part of in a five-point communique by the palace Secretary, Chief Amaechi Chime, at the end of the second and end of the year meeting between the king and his Council of Chiefs at the Royal Palace, Aboh headquarters. of Ndokwa East Local Government Area.

The Communiqué made it clear that the reconciliation committee would work assiduously to bring aggrieved parties together in the collective interest to promote peace and harmonious co-existence among the people with a view to advancing the socio – economic and infrastructural development of the kingdom.

The Council of Chiefs meeting presided over by Obi Oputa, also approved the appointment of Mr John Ugbome as the interim president of Aboh Youths Council in conjunction with Mr Onyenichie Ossai
According to committee, “They will serve for three months within which they are expected to liaise with the King to fashion out a Programm of action to produce a new executive for the youth council. Their appointment took effect from Thursday, 19th December , 2024.

“The Council also approved the proposal to gazette all Aboh Chiefs and under the arrangement, all Chiefs would be provided with a form where they would fill their personal data for proper documentation.
“The Council also approves for the revalidation of the Olinzeles and their titles in line the Delta State Traditional Chiefs Edit.”

Earlier, the Traditional Ruler tasked Council members to put aside
their differences and work as a team for the collective good of the people insisting that a lot of work needed to be done to uplift the over wellbeing of residents of the area.
