Vwakpor Efuetanu, the founder and CEO of Elite Global AI, a subsidiary of Elite Global Intelligence Technology has spoken on building a sustainable future powered by AI-driven economic empowerment.
Vwakpor Efuetanu’s journey into AI began with a passion for solving socio-economic challenges through technology.
Recognizing the potential of AI to reshape industries, he founded Elite Global AI, a company that blends AI-driven solutions with human development by focusing on skills acquisition, job creation, and technology advocacy.
Under his leadership, the company has trained over 20,000 young Africans in sought-after digital skills, including data analytics, business analysis, content creation, and IT support.
His innovative programs bridge the talent gap by providing internships and externships in collaboration with international organizations and Fortune 500 companies in the US and UK.
“We are building a digitally inclusive Africa by equipping young people with the skills they need to thrive in a tech-driven economy,” Efuetanu shared.
Elite Global AI’s flagship initiative, Elite Coach AI, is set to launch soon. This AI-powered productivity platform will offer cutting-edge courses in fields such as market research, blockchain security, digital marketing, and project management. Through personalized training and mentorship, participants will gain real-world experience, certifications, and global exposure, making them competitive in the international job market.
Graduates from the program will have the chance to work with top-tier organizations through paid externships and will receive continuous mentorship. The initiative exemplifies Efuetanu’s commitment to fostering tech talent and driving sustainable economic growth.
Efuetanu’s contributions have earned him global recognition. In a landmark achievement, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship Sustainability by the Chartered Institute of Politics and Public Resource Management, Ghana. This made him the first honorary doctorate holder in AI in Nigeria—a title that highlights his pioneering role in Africa’s tech ecosystem.
Elite Global AI’s success is deeply rooted in strategic partnerships. In May 2024, the company partnered with the Edo State Government to train 100 young AI experts. By December 2024, it collaborated with the United States Mission-America Corner to host a high-level AI forum, drawing participation from Lagos State Government officials and international investors from Italy.
The company also organizes AI advocacy campaigns targeting secondary schools, introducing students to real-life AI applications. Additionally, Elite Global AI’s tech conferences create platforms for policy discussions, industry networking, and investment opportunities.
Looking ahead, Vwakpor Efuetanu envisions Africa becoming a global tech powerhouse. His leadership at Elite Global AI continues to inspire innovation, create opportunities, and redefine how technology impacts lives.
As Africa embraces the digital economy, pioneers like Efuetanu are not just building businesses—they are reshaping the continent’s future through technology, one job and one innovation at a time.
