A group under the auspices of Ibom Forum in the National Assembly (IFNASS) has congratulated the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, on his 62nd birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message signed by the President of the Forum, Mr. Godwin Ekpenyong, on Monday at the National Assembly, IFNASS described Akpabio as an “Uncommon Senate President.”

Ekpenyong commended Akpabio for his immense contributions to the advancement of the legislative arm and his role in propelling the country’s overall development.

“Your remarkable journey as the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senate minority leader, minister, and now President of the Senate has been exemplary and groundbreaking,” Ekpenyong said.

“Your dedication to advancing the legislative arm, fostering robust legislative-executive synergy, and contributing to overall nation-building have truly set you apart as a patriotic Nigerian par excellence.”
