The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) has called on school proprietors to embrace innovation and collaboration to drive transformational education in Nigeria.
This was part of the resolutions adopted at the 17th NAPPS National Conference held in Abuja, which brought together key stakeholders to address challenges in the private education sector.
The association also urged the Federal and State Governments to create an enabling environment for private schools to thrive, including the provision of grants and tax reliefs to support their operations amidst economic uncertainties.
In her closing remarks, the NAPPS National President, Hajia Samira Jibir, reiterated the association’s commitment to delivering quality education, despite operating in a volatile and uncertain environment.
She emphasized the importance of collaboration among stakeholders and transformative approaches to ensure Nigerian children receive equitable and inclusive education.
In his words, NAPPS National Secretary, Kayode Adeyemi reaffirmed the association’s commitment to delivering quality education despite economic and policy challenges, stressing the importance of collaboration among stakeholders.
The conference concluded with a reaffirmation of NAPPS’ mission to foster partnerships, adopt innovative practices, and push for impactful reforms in the education sector.
