PANDEF commiserates with Akwa Ibom Gov over wife’s death

…Urges strength for state

The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has extended heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, over the death of his wife, Her Excellency, Pastor Patience Eno.

In a condolence visit, the Chairman of PANDEF, Ambassador Godknows Igali, presented a letter of commiseration on behalf of the forum’s leader, Senator Dr. Edwin Clark, the Board of Trustees, and the National Executive. Ambassador Igali described the late First Lady as a woman of exceptional character whose compassion, modesty, and philanthropy made her a beacon of hope and kindness in Akwa Ibom and the Niger Delta region.

“The passing of Her Excellency is a great loss not only to the Eno family and the people of Akwa Ibom but also to the entire Niger Delta. An injury to one is an injury to all,” Igali said.

In a statement signed by the national spokesman, Chief Dr. Obiuwevbi Christopher Ominimini, PANDEF noted that Pastor Patience Eno’s charitable deeds, commitment to service, and unwavering faith in Christ left an indelible mark on the lives of many. PANDEF expressed confidence that her life of selflessness and dedication has earned her eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord.

The forum urged Governor Eno to remain strong during this difficult time, not just for his family but for the people of Akwa Ibom State who look up to his leadership.

“Her legacy of kindness and devotion should inspire us all to continue building a better society,” Igali said.

The PANDEF delegation assured the Governor of the forum’s solidarity and support, praying for comfort for the bereaved family and the peaceful repose of the late First Lady.
