The Committee of e-Business Industry Heads (CeBIH) is set to hold the 2024 edition of its annual conference  with the theme,  “Payment System Vision 2030: Navigating Contemporary Issues in Driving Future Growth.” 

Dignitaries expected at conference scheduled for next months, include Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the state’s  Commissioner for Wealth Creation & Employment, and Hon. Akinyemi Ajigbotafe. Also expected at the event are: industry leaders, other government representatives, regulators, and fintech innovators are expected to engage topical issues in the payment industry.

The 2024 CeBIH conference, according to the organisers led by Ajibade Laolu-Adewale, Chief Partnership Officer, Wema Bank Plc and Chairman CeBIH, will also provide a critical platform for driving the 2030 vision of a world-class, inclusive, and secure digital payment ecosystem.

This is apart from positioning Nigeria as a leader in the global financial landscape, while seeking to create a payment system that is efficient, resilient, and accessible to all by focusing on innovation, partnership and inclusivity.

The event through which CeBIH plans to reaffirm its commitment to leading the way in the development of a payment system that meets the needs of all Nigerians, now and in the future, is also expected to assemble great minds that would focus on strategies to drive the ambitious goals of PSV 2030.
