PDP Chieftain promises more development as he bags doctoral degree

A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Ambassador Ojong Agbor, has recommitted himself to greater societal impact, saying the conferment of a Doctoral Degree on him by the American Management University, California, is an opportunity to work harder and touch more lives.

He made the pledge in Abuja after receiving the degree at the Great Achievers Summit and Award of Excellence 2024, organized by the Dr Hillary Akpua-led Great Achievers Initiative for Youth and Community Development.

The event had as its theme “Shaping the future leadership of our society.”

According to the organizers, the award was in recognition of Agbor’s outstanding work in pioneering leadership and community development.

Addressing journalists after the ceremony, Dr Agbor expressed his gratitude for the award, stating that it was a privilege to receive the recognition.

“I won’t take it for granted. It is an opportunity to work harder, an opportunity to touch more lives and to also employ as many as possible to expand the good works.

“We are recognized because of what we are doing and the lives we touch in society. We are going to push further to be the best in the world.

“We appreciate this honorary doctoral award today and we know we will attract more in future,” he said.

Other awardees includef Dr Joy Victor Osazuwa, Dr Engr. Okonkwo Ifeanyi Christian, Dr Chief Patrick Chukwudi Adilo, Dr Hajiya Hadiza Gana Mohammed, Dr Mathew Chibueze Ezeouyia, Dr Yusuf Aminu Adado, Dr Nnagoziwom Arinze David Chukwueto and Dr Yusha’u Shehu Umar.
