The Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE has conferred Honorary Fellow on the Managing Director of Coleman Wires and Cables Industries Limited, Mr. George Onafowokan, for decades of contributions to the engineering sector.

Reacting to the award, Onafowokan said that the fundamental principles of engineering have greatly benefited not only him but the entire company and the country as well.

He said: “This recognition is a reflection of years of commitment to enriching the engineering landscape, driven by my own passion for the industry.

“The success of Coleman has always been about establishing a solid foundation before projecting an image. We pride ourselves on creating substance rather than empty claims.

“I have turned down many awards in my life, recognition should come from your peers and respected institutions, not self-bestowed. It is truly a great honor for me and Coleman, recognizing our sustained hard work in the engineering field”.
