Senator Manu embarks on another ICT training in Taraba Central

The Senator representing Taraba Central Senatorial District, Manu Haruna, has initiated a massive training programme for students across his constituency in Taraba State.

Recall that prior to this initiative, Senator Manu organised a similar training programme in his constituency, benefiting over 1,000 students who were equipped with starter packs.

This ongoing programme, organised by Senator Manu Haruna in collaboration with the Centre for National Productivity, commenced on Wednesday and is scheduled to conclude on Thursday. At the end of the training, participants will receive starter packs comprising computers and other essential gadgets.

The programme is being conducted across five local government areas: Gassol, Sardauna, Bali, Kurmi, and Gashaka.

While declaring the programme open, the Director-General of Senator Manu Haruna’s Campaign Council, Hon. Simon Dogari, who represented the Senator, said:”This is not the first of its kind that our iconic leader, the Senator, has organised. In the past, he organised similar training programmes where over 3,000 students benefitted across our Senatorial District.”

He added:”This particular programme will sharpen the skills of all participants to prepare them for the new world order of internet surfing. I plead with you all to attend your lectures with utmost seriousness, as at the end of this programme, you will receive starter packs consisting of a laptop.”

Other dignitaries representing Senator Manu at the event included Hon. Alhassan Hamman Gassol, Alh. Shaibu Ishaka Kurmi, Hon. Abbas Kaura, Hon. Dr Abdullahi Jugulde, Hon. Hassan Bako, Hon. Somalia Sule, Alh. Falalu Manu, Alh. Alhassan Doro, Hon. Mohammed Nagogo, Prof. Yushua Ahmed Bali, and Hon. Muslim Aruwa, the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Taraba State.
