I faced ridicule and tough times but persevered to pursue education and success.” Despite these challenges, he earned multiple degrees, including a BSc, MSc, MBA, PhD, and an honorary Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. He is also a distinguished member of the Forbes Coaches Council, where his expertise continues to inspire.
Dr. Akinpelu further remarked: “I have been through hell, but I keep coming out smelling like heaven. The one who failed JAMB five times and was advised to become a shoemaker now speaks to governments and leaders. Yesterday’s student is today’s teacher of teachers and an authority.” His story is a powerful testament to resilience and serves as an inspiration for African youth facing similar hardships.
Expressing gratitude for his appointment, Dr. Akinpelu said: “I thank Myles University for counting me worthy and giving me this honor.” His strategic insights are expected to enhance the university’s vision and inspire students to achieve their highest potential.
