Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank, Dr Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, has described Chairman of Air Peace, Dr Allen Onyema, as a beacon of integrity and a role model in financial discipline.

The CEO hailed Onyema’s leadership and the airline’s resilience in a challenging industry, saying the bank had always believed in Onyema’s vision even before Air Peace purchased its first aircraft.

Onyeali-Ikpe praised Air Peace’s financial discipline, noting that it had ensured timely payments and maintained strong relationships with financial partners.

Speaking at Air Peace’s 10th anniversary, she said: “This focus on accountability and financial stability has set Air Peace apart as a respected player in the sector. This is only the beginning of great things. We’re very grateful and honoured to be a strategic partner of Air Peace, and we will continue to be.”

The Fidelity boss said Air Peace’s growth from a single aircraft to a fleet of over 51 was testament to the airline’s steady expansion amidst industry challenges.

According to the bank, the resilience of Onyema and his team as well as their ability to weather both international and local challenges, including the difficult period of COVID-19 was commendable.
