The President of Northern Youth Alliance (NYA),Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas has decried the arraignment of children in court by the Federal Government and alleged
that the present political leadership of Nigeria is out of tune with the hardship citizens are going through.
Hr spoke at a Northern Youth Summit in Kaduna- on Sunday,where youths from the 19th Northern states converged on the Arewa House and unanimously agreed to push for a new Nigeria.
According to the youths, there should be a change for a much better Nigeria as the 2027 election,would not be business as usual .
The youth groups at the Northern Youth Summit organized by the National Youth Alliance (NYA), reignite the call for young Nigerians to aspire and contest for political positions in government come 2027.
” The present crop of leaders are responsible for our economic woes because they lacked the idea to push the country ahead, ” they said.
Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas said that the NYA is a movement that has attracted youths from all the political parties, with the sole aim of birthing a new Nigeria that will work for all.
“NYA has been able to attract youth from the All Progressives Congress (APC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), APGA, NNPP and other parties,” he said.
“As you can see, they came here in numbers for what they believe in, as patriotic Nigeria’s, they are yearning for change that will put Nigeria on the right pedestal,” he added.
He explained further that despite threats that they should not organise the Summit by politicians , such would not deter them from using all legitimate means to ensure that Nigeria got back on the right path to progress and development.
The occasion was graced by hundreds of youths from actors the North.
