Lucky Elohor O., a prominent figure in growth and product marketing, has made waves once again with the G.R.O.W. Conference 2024.
The event, which attracted 500 in-person attendees and over 1,000 virtual participants from across Africa, was a resounding success, solidifying Lucky Elohor’s position as one of the most influential creators on the continent.
Reflecting on the event, Lucky Elohor shared, “The G.R.O.W. Conference started as a small idea in 2021 when I challenged myself with a 14-day Instagram live series. I had no idea it would grow into a large-scale event that would touch lives across the continent.”
The journey to this year’s conference has not been without challenges. In 2022, Lucky Elohor lost her entire digital footprint, including her Instagram page and Facebook ad account.
However, this setback didn’t stop her. In 2023, she pivoted to YouTube, and the event took on its official name, G.R.O.W., expanding its reach and solidifying its impact.
The theme for this year’s conference, “My Business Must Grow!” underscores the need for a transformative shift in business practices. It aims to address the challenges of stagnation in revenue, attracting freeloaders, and persisting in a status quo. The theme advocates for breaking away from the habit of treating the business as a side hustle, engaging in minimal efforts, and adopting a hobbyist approach. It encourages participants to overcome the fear of marketing, validate their efforts internally, and actively pursue business growth.
This comprehensive theme promotes a holistic reevaluation and strategic advancement toward a more prosperous and dynamic business trajectory.
The 2024 edition was the first time the G.R.O.W. Conference was held as a physical event, with attendees gathering in Lagos for an immersive experience in business and brand development.
Lucky Elohor remarked on the success, saying, “It was daring of me to make this year’s conference a physical event, and even more so to make it free. But the results speak for themselves. The feedback we’ve received shows we were able to truly impact people’s lives.”
A major outstanding highlight of the conference was the launch of Lucky Elohor’s new book, “My Brand Clarity Handbook” (MBCH). This guide, aimed at helping entrepreneurs and marketing professionals achieve brand clarity, was well-received by attendees. Lucky Elohor shared that the idea for the book came from her own experiences in brand building and leading teams in marketing and strategy, and it is designed to help others refine their messaging, positioning, and vision to achieve sustainable business success.
The conference also led to the creation of The G.R.O.W. Connect community, which now has over 600 members. This thriving network provides its members with resources, opportunities, and support to grow and succeed as business owners and entrepreneurs.
The event featured an impressive lineup of speakers, including:
