In the past week, combined military troops have neutralized 165 terrorists, arrested 185, and rescued 106 kidnapped victims in various operations across the country.

Additionally, troops have foiled oil theft worth N1.30 billion and recovered stolen crude oil, illegally refined AGO, and DPK.

North East Operations

In the North East, Operation Hadun Kai neutralized 48 terrorists, arrested 36 suspects, and rescued 17 kidnapped hostages. Troops recovered weapons, ammunition, and vehicles.

North Central Operations

In the North Central, Operation Safe Haven neutralized 6 violent extremists, arrested 25, and rescued 14 kidnapped hostages. Troops recovered weapons and ammunition.

North West Operations

In the North West, Operation Hadarin Daji neutralized 44 terrorists, arrested 23, and rescued 41 kidnapped hostages. Troops recovered weapons and ammunition.

South East Operations

In the South East, Operation Udoka neutralized 7 extremists, arrested 7, and rescued 5 kidnapped hostages. Troops recovered weapons and ammunition.

Other Operations

Troops of Operation Delta Safe discovered and destroyed 51 illegal refining sites, 47 cooking ovens, and recovered stolen crude oil and illegally refined products. Additionally, troops apprehended suspected oil thieves and violent extremists.

The Defence Media Operations (DMO) stated that troops remain in a strong position in ongoing counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations across the country. The military will continue to operate with force against terrorists and violent extremists to ensure the safety of citizens.
