CSR: Aero backs brain-teasing programme in Ghana

Aerocontractors  is supporting the ‘Who wants to be rich’ TV programme in Ghana by donating 150 airline tickets for the show every quarter.

“Who wants to be Rich?” is similar to Nigeria’s “Who wants to be a millionaire” which is aired weekly on major networks in Nigeria.
The Ghanaian version hosted by Ultima Limited has a winning prize of GHC 50,000 after successful attempts to answer 15 questions, and will be aired on GET TV station.

Other sponsors, in addition to Aero, include MTN and Ecobank.Shaf Syed, Managing Director of Aero, said the airline was delighted to be a major sponsor of the show, adding that the show has made many rich, wiped away tears, brought on tears of joy and restored lives and gave hope to so many ordinary people.

“We at Aero believe in empowering people, so we are very happy to be associated with this cause, and that is why we are offering 150 airline tickets every three months to support this show,” Syed said.

Aero serves Accra and key destinations in Nigeria, and currently offers the lowest promotional fare of GHC 93.10.
Syed said the low fare makes it that much easier for cooperation between the two Anglophone countries, offering Ghanaians the opportunity to travel to Lagos to visit their friends, relatives or to do business.

Over the last one year, Aero has significantly improved its service delivery, on_time departure, and efficiency, attracting customers with great value for money fares within and outside Ghana.

The airline has recorded many breakthrough innovative products like online booking and payment, check in and the latest being insurance policy for its travelers.
