THE chairman of Akoko- Edo Local Government Area, Hon Tajudeen Suleman, has said that the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidate in the September 21 governorship election, Dr. Asue Ighodalo would be seamless because his administration in the local council was laying the foundation the triumph.

Besides, he said that Ighodalo has the needed leadership qualities and capacity to govern the state and so campaigning for him would be easy.

In an interview with Vanguard , he said he shares Ighodalo vision of development and with him as governor, Akoko-Edo would be on the path of development.

“Among the three leading candidates, we have the man who is intellectually sagacious, I can feel the pulse of the people, his antecedents and pedigree speak volumes. He has been able to distinguish himself as a man that can bring development to the grassroots. We have started well here and all we are asking him to do by the time he assumes office is to collaborate with us and take Akoko-Edo to the next level.”
