In a display of entrepreneurial prowess, three outstanding teams emerged victorious at the recent Innovate to Elevate Entrepreneurship Pitch Challenge hosted by Wellspring College.

This transformative event, aimed at empowering future innovators, saw students showcasing their business acumen and creativity in a competitive arena.

Team T.E.T Corporation secured the first position with their groundbreaking idea of a Virtual Laboratory for Students. The team members, Oguamanam Udechukwu, Aikulola Mobolaji, and Olabanji Toluwanimi, were awarded a substantial cash prize, a visit to a startup with an exclusive chat with the founder, and an internship opportunity.

Securing the second position was Team Flearn, who presented an innovative gamified educational application for self-paced learning. The team, consisting of Umoren Oluomachi, Jinadu Inioluwa, Chukwuedo Chidera, Attai Iyene, and Giwa Fadhil, earned a generous cash prize of and the chance to visit a startup, along with an internship opportunity.

Team Logan claimed the third position with their e-commerce platform idea tailored for low-income earners. The team members – Olaiya Ifeoluwa, Ogochukwu Grace, Akanji David, and Nwanekwu Chukwubuikem – earned a visit to a startup for their exceptional concept.

According to the Executive Director of Wellspring College, Mrs Ewere Akwukwaegbu, the Innovate to Elevate Pitch Challenge, beyond the competitive aspect, equip students with vital skills essential for future endeavors, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking.
