It ‘ll be disastrous if Dangote refinery collapses, Odunzeh says

Chief Ben Uche Odunzeh, the chairman/CEO of a leading real estate company, EUC Homes Ltd has cautioned that it will be disastrous should anything untold happen to the Dangote Refinery.

His decry is coming at the heels of  reactions that has thrilled claims by the Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) about the Dangote Refinery owned by Nigeria Industrialist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.

Odunzeh, the Babalaje of Ibeju Land and a Governorship candidate in the 2023 Governorship election in Imo state stated that it will be devastating for the people of Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State and Nigeria for the refinery to collapse which according to him has given a sign of resurgence of hope to the populace.

He mentioned that youths who have through the real estate industry thrived and conquered poverty chanting the Dangote Refinery in their marketing strategies because of the proximity to their locations will be cut on the web.

He Commended President Bola Tinubu for his role towards the establishment of the refinery in the first place and called on him to intervene saying that with a salvaging intervention of the president in this impasse, the cabals that has held down the oil economy of the country will be defeated.

According to the American trained Economist, “it is a trickle down economics model” which it’s results will be benefitting to average Nigerians.

He opined that Dangote Refinery is the largest private sector investment in Nigeria and it will be disastrous for the international community investor’s to hear that the Dangote Refinery collapsed due to state hostility.

“As someone who has empowered thousands of youths in Ibeju lekki, I count it huge blessings for the community to have the Dangote Refinery in Ibeju lekki because of the wave of industrialization and business opportunities it has provided to this corridor, therefore it deserves the preservation of all who genuinely cares about the economic prosperity of Nigeria”

Equally, he tasked the Lagos State Leadership of REDAN to speak up in this development and not be behind the scene explaining that the industry will suffer the brunt if the Dangote Refinery suffers.
