The one- day event was aimed at sensitizing actors on the need to take care of themselves health wise to avoid further deaths in the industry due to lack of good health care routine among other factors.

Those who graced the event were Hon. Desmond Eliot, Segun Arinze,Sunny Macdon, Ali Baba and Nigeria’s Olympic gold medalist Rtd DCP Chioma Ajunwa.

Other notable actors included Ejiro Okurame,  Ify Eze, Tracy Edwin, Ify Okeke, Emeka Rising, Uche Nnanna.  The walk for life  commenced at the Onikan Stadium down to Falomo Ikoyi and back to the stadium.

The highlight of the event was the football match which had the likes of Segun Arinze, Sunny Macdon, Ali Baba and other actors as players, a dance spree by actors, musical displays and some other side attractions that made the event memorable. It was organized in collaboration with Ruzu Holistics, an arm of Ruzu Health Care Services Limited.

In his address, AGN National president, Dr.Emeka Rollas said that the health walk programme, which was launched in Delta State in 2023, was to educate the actors on the need to take their health seriously.
