The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, yesterday, commenced moves to achieve its five-year  strategic action plan in an effort to deepen the fight against corruption and liberate the country from all forms of graft.

Speaking at a two-day strategic plan workshop, held in collaboration with Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Programme, ROLAC, in Lagos, the chairman of ICPC, Dr. Musa Aliyu, said the planning for excellence through strategic action plan entailed collaborative and shared responsibility.

He added that the success of the commission in the fight against corruption was in direct proportion to its collective commitment to excellence.

Aliyu said: “In fight against corruption, you have to be strategic; you need to come up with strategy so that ICPC can be more focused in the fight against corruption in Nigeria.

“The organizational efforts and processes in creating a successor organizational strategic plan 2024-2028 had begun in earnest before I assumed office and the momentum in driving this process have been maintained till this day.
