NUM. 22:1-6 says, “And the Children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side

Jordan by Jericho. 2.

And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites. 3. And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many; and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel.

4. And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field.

And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time. 5. He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt; behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me.

6. Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me; peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land; for I wot that he whom thou blessed is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

Num. 22:9-12 says, ” And God came unto Balaam, and said, what men are these with thee? 10. And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, hath sent unto me, saying, 11 Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth; come now, curse me them, peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out. 12. And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them, thou shalt not curse the people; for they are blessed’

From the above Scriptural verses it was evidently clear that God has divinely blessed Israel and the  quality of the blessings had provoked jealousy on the part of their enemies and friends thus Balak the  heathen king hired a prophet to curse whom God has blessed. And God came down and said to Balaam don’t curse the people because Israelite is blessed and cannot be cursed. It’s very clear that the king of Moab understood the enormity of the power wields by men of God.

He knew that when a prophet of God curses you, definitely you shall be cursed. And if he blesses you, you shall be blessed. He had a good knowledge of what a prophet could do. You can imagine a king who didn’t believe in God but was able to know the enormity of the power he has. This king hired a prophet called Balaam to curse Israel because he knew that if Balaam who he had discerned to be a man of God curses anyone that curse cannot be vacated by man and as such that person must be cursed.

If he blesses anyone that person will be blessed.  Likewise we who are believers should know that power is bestowed upon all ministers of God, we should know that. As such we should not in any way allow a Pastor or man of God to be angry with us because whatever he says concerning us stands before God and that might be terrible. I want to let you know that it is expected of you to know the power of your pastor, the power he uses to bless you. If you understand that power and you are here today I congratulate you. None of you that is in this program today will go home without blessing.

None of you who know the power of God, grace of God favour of God that will escape the blessing of God today. I am here to bless you  and nothing can hinder it. This is because God Almighty has sent me to bless you.

Is 61:1 says, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord  hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to them that are bound” If you look at that place we read, it said that God has anointed me to proclaim freedom to the captives and for those that are bound.

This is a divine empowerment which means that if I say you are free heaven will approve it and you shall be free. If I say today that you are blessed, that is all you needed and you shall be blessed. If today  placed curse upon any of your adversaries, that is the end of the journey for them.

If I curse your problem, it will surely wither away, and that will be the end of your problem. If I proclaim  deliverance, surely deliverance will come your way. I want you to take notes of this, sometimes pastor will repeatedly be shouting and saying- be delivered, be blessed, be free etc, but it’s not because of the pastor that it is being repeated but because of your unbelief. One proclamation would have been  nough if you can believe.

But unbelievers will say why can’t he say it again and again. It’s not how many times it’s repeated that  matters but the efficacy of the prayer anchors on the authority from above. Once I proclaim anyone that is blind to receive his sight now that he is healed, so shall it be.

Nothing can stop it because I am standing on the authority bestowed upon me by heaven. It says anything I bind on earth is bound in heaven. Today you are stepping into your blessing. Truly you are stepping into your blessing.

THE REASON AND EXPLAIN POWER OF GOD’S MESSENGER

However, for you to physically experience the blessing, you must accept that I am God’s messenger thus conferred to bless you. So, faith and knowledge in this situation are very much important. Hosea 4: 6 states, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thou God, I will also forget thy children” The Scripture says expressly that the people of God are destroyed by lack of knowledge. It didn’t say those that do not know God are destroyed by lack of knowledge.

But it says it is God’s own people that are being destroyed because of lack of knowledge, those who are supposed to know are those that do not know. If you don’t have knowledge, the fact is that you will regret. If you don’t have knowledge you might be asking what are we doing here but if you have the knowledge you will speak like  Jacob, who said to the angels of God, ‘I will not let you go unless you bless me’ So knowledge is very important.

Dan. 11:32 says, “And as such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries; but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits” If you know God and what God can do you shall be strong in faith, you will be strong and possess your possession. I’m assuring you that you shall possess your possession.
