The wife of the Governor of Osun State and the United Nations Peace Ambassador, Her Excellency, Amb Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke has charged youth in the state to be creative, innovative and hardworking to change the narrative of lazy youths in the country.
Erelu Ngozi Adeleke stated this weekend during a special youth programme held at the Osun State capital, Oshogbo in commemoration of the 2024 “World Creativity and Innovation Day,”
The event organised by the State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in collaboration with the Nigerian Youth Congress Osun State under the theme: “Step Out and Innovate” is aimed to foster dialogue and action among the youth.
The Osun First Lady who stood as a beacon of inspiration at the pivotal youth event and as the distinguished Mother of the day, captivated the audience with her impassioned call among the youths to embrace innovation, creativity, and unity for personal and societal advancement.
In her wisdom-laden and convincing statements, Erelu Adeleke inspired among other things, the transformative potential inherent in the collective efforts of youth leaders and advocates of peaceful coexistence in the country.
She charged the youth to shun societal vices that are harmful to positive growth and to embrace the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and resilience.
In a moment of well-deserved recognition, Her Excellency; Amb Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke was honored with a brand award in acknowledgment of her outstanding support, meritorious service, and significant contributions to the youth and the broader community of Osun State.
In her response to the award, Erelu Adeleke stated, “This accolade served as a testament to my unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation and fostering positive change in Osun State.”
