This is the third month; the figure 3 is significant to a Christian if you bear in mind, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost commonly referred to the Trinity.

A true Christian knows that the Trinity is God’s manifestation in three parts.

Some Bible Scholars say that when God said in Genesis 1 vs. 26 ( KJV): “ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion  over the fish of the sea, and over the foul of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”.  God was actually talking to God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Hence he said,

 “ Let us” instead of let me.

Jesus acknowledged the Holy Spirit when he said in John 14 vs. 16: “ And  I will pray the Father,  and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;”.

Brethren, we are not studying the Holy Spirit but we are looking at the importance of God the Trinity and how it is so crucial to our childbearing life.

First, we have a confirmation in Genesis 1vs. 26 quoted earlier where  God  involved God the Son, God the Holy Spirit in the creation of Man.

This is the key point for us.  

We can therefore  say that for any child to  be born into any family, the Trinity is involved.

Have you any doubts?  Let’s   take a look at the birth of Christ into this world.

See the dialogue of Mary and Angel Gabriel in Luke 1 vs. 34&35: “ Then Mary  said unto the angel, How shall this be,  seeing I know  not a man?

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing   which shall be born of thee shall  be called the Son of God”.

Brethren,  it is clear that we need the combination of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit for conception to take place.

My prayer for you is that in this month of Trinity, the power of the Trinity will open up that closed womb in Jesus name.

It also speaks to health issues.   Since God creates our body in Trinity, that same power is available for healing.  

Beloved brothers and Sisters, at a time like this, we need to invite the Holy Spirit into our lives.  This is why the baptism of the Holy Spirit and becoming a  born-again Christian  is so important .

When Jesus  gave his disciples an assignment in Matthew 28 vs. 19, he said, “ Go ye therefore , and teach the nations, baptizing  them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”.

So we should have no doubt about the powers of God the Trinity.

Brethren, for whatever we want from God, we need to court the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit  is  the voice of God.  

Jesus said of the Holy Spirit in  John 16 vs. 13: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide  you in all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come”.

The plan  of God for you is revealed to you by the Holy Spirit in many ways.  Sometimes through your dreams, or he speaks  and you hear or even through your mind.

I’ll share with you, the story of  lady who was waiting on the Lord for children for over a decade.

The Holy Spirit revealed to her that despite attacks of  enemies especially household enemies that have ganged up  against her child- bearing life, she would have children.

One day, she slept in the afternoon and had a dream that she had a set of twins.   Though at that time, she hadn’t been pregnant even for one day.  She woke up excited and told the dream to one of her husband’s siblings.

The sibling told her that no woman bears twins in their family but the lady replied that God has given her a set of twins and she would have them.

That was the signal she needed to intensify her prayers To the Glory of God, though it took a long battle, the enemies fought hard  but with  God the Father, God the Son  and God the Holy Spirit on the side of this woman, she broke through. To the Glory of God today, those who boasted they would not see her have a set of twins are now calling her Iyabeji ( mother of twins).

No wonder our Lord Jesus called the Holy Spirit, “ The Spirit of Truth”.

Brethren that is how sweet victory in the Lord can be.

This is Lent   period. Connect with the power of God. 

One of the ways to connect with the Holy Spirit is by  creating  time to study the Bible. 

By  doing so, you would be inviting the Spirit of God into your life.

Brethren, your connection with the Holy Spirit is your connection to power that turns around your situation.

The power of the Holy Spirit  empowers you to overcome challenges.

It is the power you need to conceive but do you know that you would be unable to connect with God the Holy Spirit if you fail to connect with God the Father and God the Son.

The Trinity is one.

Matthew 1 vs. 20 tells us about the birth of Christ this way: “ But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph , thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which  is conceived  in her is of the Holy Ghost”.

Brethren, you may need to pray with Exodus 23 vs. 26: “ There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of they days I will fulfill”.

Pray regularly and begin to declare to your  body that it must fulfill the word of God  in your life.

Make sure you pray all the time.   This prayer point is not only about conception but also to ensure you safe in pregnancy and delivery.

Brethren, while praying,  you must make up your mind about the child you desire. 

Boy or Girl, twins or triplets.   By the mercy of God, you may have what you desire or God gives you what is best for your.

Doctors would tell you that wombs are created for only one baby at a time.  It is the power of God that makes multiple babies to be carried  in a womb.

Perhaps this is why doctors refer to  the birth of multiple babies as “ special delivery” ,  this explains why special care is taken to ensure nothing goes wrong.

In this month of Trinity, may God the Holy Sprit visit you.

It doesn’t matter what medical science has diagnosed  as the reason for infertility in your marriage, the power of God can change the situation in your favour.

May the wind of God blow fruits into that closed womb and  turn around low-sperm count in Jesus name.

God has never failed those that trust in Him, your case would not be different in Jesus name.
