ABUJA – Fire, Thursday in Abuja, razed the twin duplex housing the headquarters of Accord Party, AP, and Typhacenia Nigeria Limited, destroying property worth millions of naira.

Cause of the fire on the property located on Plot 7, Yawuri Street, adjacent to Office of the Surveyor-General of the Federation, Garki II, in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, was unknown at press time.

The fire was first noticed at about 12.45 pm when thick smoke engulfed the entire roof of the wing housing the secretariat.

The wing was, according to a source, under lock at the time of the incident.

Although men of the Federal Fire Services, FFS, arrived to contain the fire, the other wing, housing Typhacenia Nigeria Limited, was affected.
