ENUGU metropolis last night, witnessed first rain in 2024. The heavy rain lasted for about an hour.

The rain came as a big relief for the residents of the city who have been going through scorching heat and sunshine.

The surprised rain which came without any usual sign came around 10pm and 11.05pm and brought a bit of cool weather.

However, it could not be ascertained if it covered the entire city.
