Asaba—DELTA State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ibrahim Tsafe, has charged newly promoted officers of the command to tackle the current security challenges in the state with maximum dedication.
Addressing the promoted officers shortly after their decoration with their new ranks in Asaba, Tsafe said, “you must work hard to restore public confidence in the police,” noting that the officers were found worthy of promotion by the Inspector General of Police.
Twenty Assistant Superintendents of Police, ASP, were moved to Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, while 12 DSPs were moved to Superintendent, SP. Among them was the State Police Public Relations Office, Mr. Charles Muka, who is now a DSP.
The CP cautioned them against running foul of the code of conduct of the Police and charge them to put in their best at all times.
