Popular Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, has revealed that her mother has asked her to start wearing long skirts.

The self-described “Sabi girl,” who is well-known for her love of short dresses and skirts, disclosed that her mother had given her the advice to start wearing longer skirts instead of shorter ones.

She revealed this on X, along with a video of herself donning a two-piece set that included a crop top and skirt that hung down to her thighs.

Her video caption reads: “My mom said I should start wearing longer skirts 🤭 #ayerastarr.”

This occurs a few days after she faced backlash for showing up to the 66th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles over the weekend in a short, skimpy attire.
