The media space has been besieged with images and videos of socialite Aisha Achimugu shutting down the Caribbean island of Grenada, where she threw herself an extravagant 50th birthday party.

Aisha marked her 50th birthday on January 22. To commemorate her golden jubilee, the socialite went all out for a seven-day celebration filled with multiple events that saw visitors shift between Calivigny Island and Silversand, a small and luxury resort located on the beaches of Grand Anse Beach, Grenada.

According to reports, Achimugu spent nearly $1 million (more than N1 billion) to rent the island for an entire week.

WHO IS AISHA ACHIMUGU?

Aisha is the managing director/ CEO of Felak Concept Group.

She attended Federal Government Girls Science School, Kuje, Abuja and transited to the University of Jos, Nigeria where she acquired a B.Sc in Accountancy in 1998. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by the Commonwealth University, Belize

Aisha got married to Sulaiman Akao Achimugu and they have three children.

Among her shining accomplishments, Mrs. Aisha has received several awards one of which is the Youth Ambassador for Peace Award which recognizes individuals whose lives exemplify ideal living for the sake of others and who dedicate themselves to practices that promote universal moral values.
