Disengaged Shooting Star Sports Club coach Fatai Amoo has rejected the condition of a pay cut given to him to return to his post.

A reliable source of the team told Inside Out Premier League, that the former coach was on a salary of N750,000 monthly but was given N500, 000 by the Sports Commissioner, Dapo Adeshini as his new salary but Amoo turned it down.

Meanwhile, the club last Wednesday appointed a former U-17 coach, Babatunde Odubola as assistant coach of the club.

Babatunde, was a former 3SC feeder team coach and a former player of the team who played alongside Mutiu Adepoju in the 1990’s.

Meanwhile, Shooting Stars resumed training last Wednesday under the supervision of the assistant coach and Adepoju.
