The National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has congratulated the upper legislative house on the recent bill passed against the legalisation of gay marriage in the country.

Pastor Ayo made the statement during a soul stirring sermon delivered at the on-going end of the year thanksgiving service organised by Vanguard media christian fellowship.

He said “despite the problems in our Senate they were bold enough to say no to same sex marriage. It is an aberration and an abomination and it is evil like this that is shutting the heavens on us as a nation because really something isn’t right; something isn’t right with us as a nation.”
The CAN president spoke in his usual charisma but he couldn’t hide the emotion from his voice. He called on everyone who believed in everything good to remain steadfast as it remains the last and final front against evil.
“Let all of us that strive to do the right thing never slumber; perhaps God can look upon us therefore with pity and come to save this nation” He said.
