ABUJA- Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has submitted the name of its governorship candidate in Bayelsa State, Henry Seriake Dickson and his running mate, Rear Admiral John Gboribiogha Jonah, rtd, to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the February governorship election in the state.

In a statement signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Professor Rufai Alkali, the party said all issues relating to Bayelsa governorship nominations have been brought to a close.

He said:‘’This submission brings to a close all issues concerning gubernatorial nominations in Bayelsa State.

‘’The PDP wishes to thank all stakeholders, leaders and members who contributed to the success of this nomination process.

All stakeholders and Party members in Bayelsa State are therefore urged to rally round our gubernatorial flag bearers and ensure that the party convincingly wins the forthcoming elections.”
