ADO-EKITI— Ekiti State House of Assembly has issued a 21-day ultimatum to the authorities of Ekiti College of Education, Ikere Ekiti, to reinstate all the nine staff wrongfully terminated by the college about eight years ago.
The immediate past House of Assembly had similarly passed a resolution for the reinstatement of the staff, but the order was ignored after the expiration of the life sperm of the assembly
The lawmakers, however, directed the Provost of the college, Prof Francisca Aladejana to report back to the House with evidence of compliance.
The nine affected staff are Mr. Ajayi Gabriel; Mr Leye Fadoro; Mr Arokadere James; Mr. E.T. Omiyale; Mrs Ofunrum C.C; Mr. Ebenezer Odunayo; Mr. Onyekwere Donatus; Mr. Olamusanmi Lawrence and Mr. Olugbenga Agbeyo while the three officers retired without benefits are Mr. A.O. Adeyemo; Mr. Amodu Bayode and Mr. Ogunmodede Taiwo.
