A pressure group, Niger Delta Youth for Good Governance, NDYGG, has called on Mr. Michael Tidi to contest the chairmanship seat of Warri South Local Government Area in the forthcoming Delta State local government election, saying he is an agent of change the council needs.
Tidi was the candidate of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, for Warri South I Constituency at the last House of Assembly election.
A statement by Messrs Oritsejolomi Ajatiton and Quincy Gbabuyo, Chairman and Secretary of NDYGG, respectively, said: “We, Niger Delta Youth for Good Governance, hereby, urge one of our own, Mr. Michael Tidi, erstwhile ACN candidate for Delta State House of Assembly to vie for the chairmanship of Warri South Local Government Area in the 2012 election.
“We want to encourage all the good people of Warri South that Tidi has the prerequisite ability and required experience to run the affairs of the council.”
