Former Bayelsa State governor, Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha and former state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Chief Rufus Abadi weekend dismissed claims of the alleged involvement of President Goodluck Jonathan in the conduct of the PDP primaries in which Hon Seriake Dickson emerged as the party governorship candidate for the February election.

In a separate interview in Yenagoa the duo described President Jonathan as a fair and objective and should not be dragged into the politics of the state.

Dismissing the alleged involvement of President Goodluck Jonathan in the conduct of the poll in the state, Chief Alamieyeseigha said the President is a fair and objective man, “why would he pitch his tent with anyone. He is too mighty and people should not reduce the office of the President.”

In his comment, the immediate past Chairman of the PDP, Chief Rufus Abadi said those involved in the claim that the hand of the President is behind the victory of Seriake Dickson are bad losers.

His words, “they failed because they know they are not popular. Five past chairmen of the PDP pitched their tent with Seriake Dickson because they believe in him. Politics is a game. Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose.”
