20 goals Nigerian Premier League top scorer, Jude Aneke has revealed that he would fill in the boots of top absent Dream Team V players at the first edition of the U’23 Africa Championship billed for Morocco this month.

The Kaduna United player said the U’23 team will capitalize on the weakness of their opponent to secure qualification.

“By the special grace of God I will get the goals that will give us the expected ticket for the Olympics if being selected to play. I am sure we will get the ticket needed.

“We are only looking at our strength and not weakness. All we plan to do is to capitalize on the weakness of northern team which we know their style of play,” Aneke added.

On his call up to the team and making his first senior debut against Zambia in Kaduna over the week, he said, “It is an achievement for me to be fielded in the game against Zambia to make my debut. I feel happy to be amongst those going to Morocco to get the Olympic ticket for the country which is the only thing left for us as a country this year,” Aneke added.
