Saudi Arabia’s Pro League side, Al-Ahli are interested in signing Manchester City and Algerian forward, Riyad Mahrez.

The 32-year-old was part of the Guardiola-led side that won the first historic treble in the club’s history.

Mahrez lost his place as a starter at the start of the 2022–23 season and was reportedly considering a move.

It is understood that the Algerian has a £45 million-a-year offer on the table.

Manchester City are, however, reported to be unwilling to sell the forward over uncertainty surrounding the future of Bernado Silva, but could be tempted if they receive the right offer.

Saudi Pro League sides have been active in the transfer window with the league having snapped up already African stars such as Eduard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly.
