Yakubu Aiyegbeni can only pray that things would change for Blackburn in the premier league as they play at home against Chelsea this weekend.

Blackburn have only six points from ten games and are in danger of been relegated unless there is a massive turn around for the club. They had the chance to move away from the bottom three last weekend but they threw away a 3-1 lead.

“Luck is not on our side at the moment, the whole season we’ve been unlucky. It was the same against Newcastle but what can you do? We have to stick together.

“But we believe that it will change and that our season will start again. You don’t just want to win for the manager but for the club, too.

“Yes, we deserved more,” said Yakubu, whose fierce shot past John Ruddy had restored Blackburn’s lead after a fine volley from Steve Morison.

“When we scored to go 3-1 up, we thought we had three points in our hands. But we didn’t get them. We felt a little bit bad but what can we do? We need to go back to training and work really hard to get ready for Chelsea,”said Yakubu.
