Erstwhile Eagles coach, Samson Siasia is bitter that he was not given a second chance by the football federation who disengaged him for not qualifying Nigeria for the 2012 Nations Cup.
Federation President Aminu Maigari insists that it was Siasia who breached his contract by not qualifying Nigeria to the Nations Cup after signing to get to, at least, the semifinal of the same event.
“I know this coaching job and I wish they gave me another chance. The changes I would have made would have been enormous and Nigeria would have reaped tremendously from the programme I was going to introduce,” Siasia said yesterday.
He has decided to take the development in good fate, hoping that some day the chance to train the national team will come again.
