BERLIN (AFP) – Bayern Munich will coast to this season’s German title by a margin of ten points, the club’s former goalkeeper Oliver Khan predicted on Monday.
“I don’t see major changes in the table from here to the (final) 34th game and I see Bayern becoming champions with a 10-point cushion,” Kahn wrote on his blog.
“Their form at home this season has been very impressive. It’s not only statistically that Jupp Heynckes’ team are shining, but also in the way they are beating their rivals,” added Kahn, who won a plethora of titles with Bayern including the 2001 Champions League.
Bayern, whose latest win came at the weekend with a 4-0 rout of Nuremberg, lead the Bundesliga standings on 25 points, four clear of Schalke 04.
