Come October 29, 2011, all roads will lead to Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos venue of the maiden edition of a body building championship tagged ‘Mr Flex Nigeria’, as body builders flex muscles for N2.5m prize money.

President of Steco Productions (organisers of the competition) Stephen Okolie-Odene said, Mr Flex Nigeria was Nigeria’s foremost body building contest which would attract body heavyweights within and outside the country.

Aside the N2.5m prize money, other items winners will cart home on that day include a star prize power bike and other fabulous consolation prizes.

Speaking at a conference in Lagos to announce the date of the competition, Okolie-Odene said the objective of the championship was to give the desired mileage in the field of body building and to give Nigerians a place in the world of body building.

‘’Nine finalists would be selected from the three categories to vie for the overall champion after which the winner will go home with the power bike and N500,000 while the first and second runners up will go home with a cash prize of N300,000 and N150,000”, he said.
