Leading Premium Dental Clinic, Exclusive Smile marks 2023 International Women’s Day by celebrating the impact of women in the Clinic’s massive advancements.

The Clinic which is reputable for providing patients with world-class dental services, with awards and recognitions to its name joined the rest of the world to mark this year’s International Women’s Day with the theme, Embrace Equity.

In a statement, the Clinic’s Executive Director, Mrs. Ibitayo Akinbobola, acknowledged the vital role women play in running the affairs and setting the ball rolling at Exclusive Smile. She said,

“Through the years, We have recognized the need to build an inclusive organisation. The progress we have made so far is proof of how positively that has impacted us. Here, we have women playing different roles, from Doctors, to Heads of Departments and Administrative staff. And today, like every other day, we celebrate their achievements and the impact they have had on the Clinic”

She also stated that Exclusive Smile is committed to ensuring that it keeps providing women with opportunities to thrive, in the workplace. While also empowering them with opportunities to elevate their visibility.

She added that while it is important to celebrate the strides women are taking all around the World, it is also important to recognize the ongoing struggle of women in dealing with marginalisation and discrimination which has been a course requiring incredible courage and persistence.

Following the theme of this year’s event, Embrace Equity, which she referred to as timely, She said,

“There’s always a call for Equality. But equal opportunities are not just enough. By embracing equity, we recognize our differences and the role they play in our lives and that of other people. We do not just want to make sure that women have access to the opportunities that they need, but that their circumstances are also recognized and they are allocated the resources to reach an equal outcome as their counterparts”

She added that while a lot of progress has been made in empowering women, there is still so much work to be done. And all hands must be on deck if we must build a development that is not only rewarding, but sustainable.
