The Tunisian national team today held the Nigeria’s Super Eagles to 2-2 draw in a tension soaked encounter at the Abuja National stadium in a 2010 World Cup qualifying match.
In a match watched by a capacity filled stadium, the Super Eagles opened scoring in the 24minute, a goal scored by Osaze Odewinge with the Tunisians scoring the equaliser in the next minute.

The first half ended with without a change in the scoreline.
However, the introduction of Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo , Obinna Nsofor and the Tuninisan based and highest goal scorer in the North African country league Michael Eneramo added bite to the Super Eagles attack as the Amodu-led team scored its second goal in the 80 minitue off  a shot from danger man Eneramo off a yeoman’s effort from Mikel Obi.
But the celebrations of a possible victory was shortlived when in the 89minutes Tunisia equalises via a goal by its number 10 shirt player, Daraggi hanging Nigeria’s hope of qualifying for next year’s World Cup in South Africa, in a balance.
