A chieftain of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Edo State, Chief Osamudiamen Obamwonyi has said the Board of Niger Delta De-velopment Commission, NDDC, was not the sole birth right of anyone.

In his reaction to an interview granted by former member represen-ting the state on the Board, Mr. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, Obamwonyi said: “His anger against Governor Adams Oshiomhole on the infrastructural deve-lopment of his admini-stration is uncharitable, as he is a jobless politician seeking relevance.”

He enjoined Edo people to discountenance the “scatting comments by the politician, who had resorted to name-calling and unnecessary criticism of the developmental efforts of Oshiomhole for political rehabilitation.”

He said: “The interview is misplaced, biased, uncharitable and smacks of his inability to appre-ciate the enormous ener-gy and resources wisely deployed by Oshiomhole to restoring the state to its original master plan and glaring infrastructural development taking root in the state.”

“I want Edo people to recall that since he left the state House of Assembly as a member representing Ikpoba-Okha and the Board of NDDC representing the state, has resorted to media campaign to disparage Oshiomhole to possibly curry unmerited favour.”
