ABC Transport has procured twelve (12) units of bulkers, which will be used in transporting cement and dry bulk commodities such as wheat.
This segment of ABC Hauls will focus on bulk transportation, and with ABC Transport’s vast trucking resources, cement manufacturers, construction firms, and other industrial customers will now enjoy cost advantage in meeting their bulk handling and distribution needs.
The bulkers will service WAPCO-Lafarge and United Cement in the meantime, although they can be contracted by other industrial users as the need arises. ABC Transport, now a major player in haulage business, has already completed arrangements for the receipt of additional bulkers to be delivered at various times through 2012.
A consistent innovator, ABC Transport was conferred with the Best Transport Company for the Year 2010 last month, at the 5th Lagos Enterprise Award.
In addition to haulage and passenger services, ABC Transport provides tours, charters, petty cash services, third party warehousing as well as runs a budget hotel, City Transit Inn, in Utako, Abuja. ABC Transport remains the only road transport operator quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. ABC Transport has depots equipped with functional maintenance units in Agbara, Calabar, Ewekoro (Ogun State) and also manages the haulage needs of Nestle Water, GZ Industries, and Beta Glass.
